There has always been something about a beautiful place that inspires worship, rejuvinates the spirit, gives a sense of serenity, and promotes surrender to the Creator. At least that's how I respond to simplistic beauty, presumably most others do too. So today, I am grateful for a beautiful retreat where I am resting from the war zone of front line ministry, and responding to the refreshing touch of God on my heart.
