Autumn always brings out the poet in me and the writer shows up even more. I felt nostalgia wash over me today for all that occurred in the beautiful Summer of 2019. My pal said, "we're just a few days out of the Summer season don't start getting sentimental." "Too late," I replied. They label me as expressive. Eh, I've been called worse. Happy Autumn, sweet friends!

I have been stuck on this simple love song for days.  Please don't underestimate the power of your love connection with Christ.  Encourage those around you to develop their relationship with God,  it's what they're created for. This deep soul connection to Him has brought me through some very dark and disparaging times.  Love, Joy and Peace in the Holy Ghost

There has always been something about a beautiful place that inspires worship, rejuvinates the spirit, gives a sense of serenity, and promotes surrender to the Creator. At least that's how I respond to simplistic beauty, presumably most others do too. So today, I am grateful for a beautiful retreat where I am resting from the war zone of front line ministry, and responding to the refreshing touch of God on my heart.
