Craftiness - but in a good way :-)

It's sandal weather here in Tucson. We're hitting mid to high 80's on the regular this February. Yeah, I'm not all that excited about it. One upside though, flip flops.

With all the comings & goings at my casa, flip flops & sandals tend to end up scattered from here to yon. Having already tripped over the aforementioned scattering, I decided to do a little something that will, hopefully, encourage us all to be a little more tidy.

Now, I cannot take credit for this idea. Over the last couple of years I've flirted with ideas on Pinterest but never committed to putting the work in, until now that is. You can find detailed instructions on Pinterest - from boards whose creators have time to sit and spell it out. That's not me. I mean, it's a good month when I get to share a moment or two with you all on Liz's Chatter. Plus, I like the creativity a lack of information induces. Really, I don't mind reading directions, but I'm more of a skimmer. Unless it's something life & death, like CPR, then I'm all about details. But crafting, is about creativity not life and death. So here, I won't bore you with the details, there's a lot of reading between the lines that can be done here :)

What should I call this thing?

Anyways.... start with a wire hanger. Like this one.

Wire Hanger

Then use needle nose pliers to cut, bend and otherwise manipulate the wire hanger.
Needle nose pliers

After you've cut, bent, curved, straightened, etc., it could look something like this.
Sorta looks like an angel, a praying mantis, or an aristocratic body builder. Ha!

I plan to make a few more.
Here's how I'll use my creation; hanging two pair of flip flops instead of just one.

Give it a shot, you never know how cool it'll look until you try. Crafting is a great stress reliever. Remember to share, I'd love to see your creation!

Content Not Complacent

Do not let contentment drift into complacency.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

What a blessing it has been to spend a couple of weeks with my family in AZ. With the newest addition to my brother's family, the girls are outnumbered! Jensen Donovan Munns "JD" is a precious boy with a big future.  I'll never not be ecstatic to spend time with Muggs, my second youngest nephew. He's two and from minute 1 we've been buddies. He's my smallest bff!!  My sweet Lizzie has some news of her own that will be shared soon. 😊 She's grown up to be an amazing and sweet young woman. Navigating those early 20's is not simple but she's making it happen. Y'all keep praying that she'll want to make a move to WI with this momma! 🙏🏼   There are no rivals that I have seen to challenge AZ views. Here are a few photos to prove my point 👉🏻
